Come out for a Community Beach Clean up on Tuesday, August 1 from 8-10 am in downtown Ocean City. We will be working to pick up trash on the beach, boardwalk, and surrounding streets. Check in and pick up for materials will be on 4th Street and the boards. There will be tables set up with all the equipment needed for your clean up!  At 9:30, participants will meet back at 4th street and the boards to celebrate all their hard work and weigh all trash! We encourage everyone to arrive a few minutes early for find parking. The town is providing the 4th Street municipal parking lot for free to volunteers from 7:30 – 10:30. Parking downtown on bayside (St. Louis), is also free.  FB Event Page. We hope you will come out to join us! This event is a collaborative partnership between Town of Ocean City, Beach Heroes-OC, Maryland Coastal Bays Program, OC Surf Club, Assateague Coastal Trust, Surfrider Foundation- Ocean City Maryland Chapter, Restore the Shore, and Go Green Oc. *a waiver will need to be signed upon arrival.
