Assateague Outfitters is a unique partnership between the non-profit Maryland Coastal Bays Program and the for-profit SuperFun Eco Tours.
SuperFun Eco Tours is a for-profit concession located at the Assateague National Seashore. The concession consists of a bayside rental camp store, a kayak tour service, an oceanside beach hut convenience and novelty store, and an oceanside beach chair/umbrella rental stand.
The bayside rental stand offers kayak, stand up paddle board, canoe, bike, and clam rake rentals. It also houses a small camping supply boutique as well as a few snacks and refreshments.
Guided kayak tours are available and feature either a wildlife discovery tour or a sustainable shellfishing tour, where you will experience firsthand the bays and the ecological importance of which our program strives to protect.
The beach hut includes all your beach needs, from sun block and umbrellas to beach toys, refreshments, snacks, ice cream, prepackaged sandwiches, and an assortment of souvenirs—including work from local artists.
