Showell Preserve, Showell MD

This 90 + acre MCBP property, a wildlife haven, is utilized for research and monitoring initiatives throughout the year. New trails that guide visitors throughout the property were started in 2022 and continue to be improved. To further enhance visitor experience at the Showell Preserve, MCBP will be installing split rail fence along the entrance and parking area. Trail maintenance is ongoing and will also be an option to those interested. Boots, pants, long sleeves, and gloves are encouraged. Water will be available and MCBP will supply all necessary tools and equipment.
