Assateague Living Shoreline

Join MCBP for the 3rd installment of the 2021 Discover Your Watershed series at the beautiful Assateague Living Shoreline! Our program focus for this site is Shoreline Scavenge. Attendees will receive a tour of the restoration site and embark on the scavenger hunt through the various ecosystems that make up the Living Shoreline. We will also finish the morning with a clean up of the area and try our hand at sampling microplastics!
The event is completely FREE and open to all ages.

*The Assateague State Park Marina has a standard $5 car fee that must be paid.
Registration is limited!

The event is located in Berlin, Maryland, starts at 9:30 am, and runs until 12 noon on Saturday, September 11.
