Restoring the Newport Bay watershed
This partnership seeks to restore and protect the ecological health of the Newport Bay watershed by uniting local governments, nonprofit organizations and dedicated community stewards. Through coordinated, science-based actions, partners will address water quality challenges and restore habitat.
Thanks to a $20 million investment through Maryland’s Whole Watershed Program, this collaborative effort will deliver significant environmental benefits for the watershed and the region.
