Become a horseshoe crab volunteer! Last year our stranded Spawning Horseshoe Crab Recovery Team rescued over 7,900 horseshoe crabs. If you are interested in joining us this spawning season, please register for our training on April 30th at 4 pm held at the Assateague National Seashore Education Center (7205 Stephen Decatur Hwy, Berlin MD 21811) Register HERE.

The Training is mandatory for all new volunteers. It will include information about the mission of the Stranded Spawing Horseshoe Crab Recovery Team, how to safely handle horseshoe crabs, how to fill out the data sheet, and the importance of horseshoe crabs. Volunteers will also be given all the materials needed to participate.
