Mini Grant Program:
MCBP is accepting grant proposals for the 2025 Mini Grant Program. This grant opportunity is available to any individual, group, school, organization, service youth and civic groups to support community, science, and educational initiatives that align with actions outlined in the Maryland Coastal Bays Program Comprehensive Conservation & Management Plan . Through this funding opportunity, MCBP is seeking to engage new applicants and organizations from diverse communities in small-scale projects. The submission period will open on January 21, 2025 and close on March 7, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. Instructions for how to apply can be found in the RFP.
An information session for the MCBP Mini Grant Program will occur on January 30th at 2pm EST on the Zoom platform. Research Grant Program:
MCBP is accepting grant proposals for the 2025 Research Grant Program. These grants are being offered to MCBP’s partners to assist in responding to the implementation of actions outlined in the Maryland Coastal Bays Program Comprehensive Conservation & Management Plan (CCMP). The CCMP represents a consensus of the best means needed to preserve the economic and ecological prosperity of the Coastal Bays for the future. The strategies in the plan include reachable scientific goals and the most effective means for implementing them. Submission period will open January 21, 2025 and close on March 21, 2025. Final report/deliverables are due March 1, 2026 and final invoice is due on April 1, 2026.
